Alex Irvine Cox is an award-winning film Director working across formats for Broadcast, Theatrical release and Streaming Services. 

 

He has worked on and Directed multiple premium projects for the BBC, Netflix, Channel 4, Showtime and more, as well as screening films internationally at multiple film festivals. His work has ranged from BAFTA nominated self-shot single documentaries as a Cinematographer to Directing high-end premium docu-drama series overseeing entire crews. 

 

Alex has a passion for visual storytelling and is known for using special VFX and other cutting edge industry technology in the making of his projects to give them an immersive and box office feel. 

 

His directorial debut for Netflix Missing Dead or Alive which followed the search for missing people by law enforcement in South Carolina,  launched as the #2 TV Show on Netflix in the USA and spent 2 weeks in the global Top 10.

He is currently prepping for season 2 of Missing Dead or Alive for Netflix as well as developing other projects in both the documentary and drama space.
